Wainui surf lifeguards Dion Williams and Sonia Keepa won big at the Surf Life Saving New Zealand Awards of Excellence at the weekend.
Williams was named Coach of the Year after he assisted the New Zealand Black Fins at the Sanyo World Cup in Japan last year and enjoyed success at a local, regional and national level.
Keepa received the DHL NZ Instructor of the Year award.
