FIREFIGHTERS were called to a property in Roebuck Road near Leith Street early yesterday morning after fire engulfed a shed on the property used as a sleep out.
It has sparked a warning about sleepout safety.
Fire and Emergency NZ sent two appliances to the scene at about 5am.
